F.No. 3/16/2008 – P&P. Staff selection commission will hold on 14.06.2009, a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of section officer (commercial Audit), a group B Non – Gazetted post in the office of controller and auditor general in the pay scale of PB -2 (Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 with grade pay of Rs. 4,800 (pre revised Rs. 6,500 – 10,500) all over the country.
Vacancies/Reservation
The number of reservations to be filled is 240 (UR – 122, SC – 36, ST – 18 and OBC – 64). Out of these 240 vacancies 04 vacancies are reserved for OH and 03 Vacancies are reserved for HH. These vacancies are provisional and many increase or decrease without notice.
Age Limit
Not exceeding 18 – 27 Years as on 09-04-2009. (relax able up to 05 years for central Government Employees who have rendered not less than 03 years of continues service as such on regular basis as on 09 – 04 -2009). Usual age relaxation will be admissible to SDC, ST, OBC etc. as the per the Government orders in force.
Essential Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in commerce from a recognised university or chartered Accountancy or Institute of cost and works accountancy (ICWA) or company Secretary ship (CS) from recognised institute / organisation as on 09 -04 -2009
Fee
Rs 100.00 (Rupees hundred only). No fee for SC, ST, Exs and PH candidates, Fee concession if not admissible to the sons and daughters of Exs or persons from other backward classes, Fee can be paid through CRFS only.
Centres of examinations
The examination will be held in a number of centres all over the country, as indicated in the detailed notice published in the employment news / Rozgar Samarcahar dated 14 – 03 – 2009.
Closing Date
The last date for receipt of application in the concerned regional office of the commission will be 09 -04 -2009 and in case the candidates residing in remote areas it will be 17 -04 -2009.
