Maharashtra state power generation company limited (MAHAGENCO) is the major power generating company in the state of Maharashtra,India. With a total generation of 10,400 MW , it is the second largest power producing company n India. Invites applications for the following posts.

Educational qualification

Executive Engineer: First Class Bachelors degree or Masters Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation/ Mechanical Engineering / Technology of University or Institute in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act or State Act or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. Must possess experience of not less than 9 years in the field of Power Sector Industry. In case of candidates possessing post graduate qualification degree Management / Administration – 7 years.

Dy. Executive Engineer: Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation/ Mechanical Engineering / Technology of University or Institute. Must possess experience of not less than 7 years in the field of Power Sector Industry. In case of candidates possessing post graduate qualification degree Management / Administration – 5 Years.

Assistant Engineer: Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation/ Mechanical Engineering / Technology of University or Institute. Note:- The departmental candidates possessing Degree in Engineering / Technology in any discipline and who fulfill the condition of required experience on Generation side shall be considered under direct recruitment provided that they will have to appear for the written test based on syllabus of Bachelor of Engineering degree and to compete along with other candidates. 3 years post qualification experience on Generation side.

Junior Engineer: Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering / Technology of University or Institute in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act. Or State Act. Or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

Junior Engineer(Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering /Technology of a University or Institute in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a State Act or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. Following disciplines also can be considered depending on specific requirement :- (1) Construction Engineering (2) Construction Technology (3) Structural Soil and Foundation Engineering (4) Construction Technology & Management (5) Construction Engineering & Management. No previous experience is necessary.

Sub Engineer: Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Power / Electronics & Telecommunications /Instrumentation / Mechanical Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education of Govt. of Maharashtra or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. No previous experience is necessary.

Sub Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education of Government of Maharashtra or other qualification recognised as thereto Note-: Candidates Possessing Diploma in Engineering (i.e. Construction Engineering/ Construction Technology may also be considered depending on the specific requirement of such candidates. No previous experience is necessary.
