Love Aaj Kal Music Review

Love Aaj Kal is gaining a lot of media attention and among youngsters as the film is made by none other than the ‘Jab We Met’ crew and what else can one ask when the crew is best of the lot. The most controversial music director, Pritam does the job of music here.

Pritam definitely does a wonderful job in giving you an insight into the film. I do see a lot of resemblance to the arrangements of Jab We Met

One thing I would like to mention here is that Love Aaj Kal boasts a good set of romantic songs. You have KK, Raahat Fateh Ali Khan and Mohit Chauhan performing their best in the soundtrack. If you ask me one thing that will make this soundtrack a definite hit would be love songs.

Ok let me give you an insight into the soundtrack.

Twist

Yes, the same Naagin track. The track is full of energy yet very few can resist the entire track as it lacks substance and more of repetition in the air.

Chor Bazaari

The music is lively yet a little weird. Overall, it is a good and lively track.

Aahun Aahun

Talking of fun and not mentioning about Punjabis is pretty odd and no exception here. This song will take some time to grow on you.

Dooriyan

Mohit Chauhan and Pritam’s combination is deadly and never seem to go wrong. Whenever you need a heart-touching song, you can expect a miracle from this duo. The track is full of emotions, love and the best part is the excellent rendition by Mohit Chauhan.

This one has to be one of the best tracks in the film.

Ajj Din Chadheya

If Mohit Chauhan pleased the love birds, then the love birds have something more to rejoice as we have Raahat Fateh Ali Khan doing this beautiful number. The song is soft yet penetrates deep inside you. One thing is for sure, you will repeat this track again and again.

Thoda Thoda Pyar

Looks like a very typical situational song and indicates a get-together in the film. The song is set in the Punjabi’s celebration period and has a 90s touch to it.

Main Kya Hoon

KK does the job here and leaves no stone unturned. Yet another love track but a bit faster than the earlier two love numbers.
