GATE 2009 Results are out!

As per schedule the GATE 2009 results are out on 15 March 2009. One can check his / her results on all IITs, IISc and GATE official websites or else can visit to their nearest GATE centres.
Some Important points to remember
- The GATE scorecard of 2009 is valid till 15 March 2010 (Valid for one year only).
- Scores for both qualified and non-qualified candidates will be made available on all official websites.
- The GATE scores of the qualified students will be sent to interested organisations like educational institutions, Research and development (R&D) laboratories, Industries etc, which are in India or outside India based on written request on payment of fees from GATE chairman.
- The results are based on computerised scanning of OMR sheets. Any request for re-totalling or re-evaluation will not be entertained by the institution.
