Shiv Kumar Sharma has created a variety of forms of music to depict the many forms of water : two traditional raga-based composititons, describing stories drawn from the roots of our mythology and heritage, and others which are more contemporary , reflecting modern life and musical sounds. Many feel that the sound of santoor invokes the sound of water, and it gives them an experience of joy. Though these compositions in a variety of musical idioms, Pt.
