Naqaab is a love story. A love story triangle. But love triangles are often boring and love stories are dime a dozen. So what’s unique about this story? The uniqueness is the film director’s Abbas-Mustan and the production house Tips films. Abbas-Mustan, the men in white would never make a straight love story. Hence to say that this story is a romantic thriller. The story is totally set in Dubai. Music is composed by Pritam.

The story goes with a girl - Sophia(Urvashi), from the middle strata of society, meets a guy called Karan(Bobby Deol), belonging to the upper echeion of society. Opposites attract. Hence Sophia falls in love with Karan and they both get engaged. Now, Vicky(Akshaye Khanna) enters the plot. He is from the same strata of society as of Sophia. Positives come close keeping the engagement behind. Now Sophia falls in love with Vicky. Now you might be thinking whats so thrilling in this movie. The actual thrill arrives now when these three characters have deadly past which may ruin their futures. and then there is a fourth mysterious man who is monitoring all these three people characters activities. With all the nail-bitting sequences there lies these questions :

Whom does Sophia finally choose?

Who does she actually want?

What are those deadly pasts?

Who is the mysterious man?
