It is notified for information of the candidates, desirous to seek admission in Delhi Technological University that the University shall conduct its own Counseling for Delhi & Outside Delhi seats in respect of 14 B.Tech. full time programmes including 10 programmes of the erstwhile DCE on the basis of merit rank of All India Engineering Entrance Examination -2010 (AIEEE-2010), to be conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi.

DTU (DCE) or NSIT will not conduct CEE this year. Therefore they will admit the students to their courses on the basics of AIEEE 2010 Rank (State and Central). For more details regarding AIEEE visit http://aieee.nic.in/aieee2010/aieee/welcome.html

just by studying from ncert books can i crack dce.
You would have, but since there is no longer a separate exam for DCE, you will have to put in some extra efforts to clear AIEEE.
Admissions to DCE (DTU) will be done thru AIEEE examination only

Abhinav u can try 4 mechanical, u can surely get civil or chemical.

Just to brief you that in total there are 910 seats of which 85% seats will be allotted to Delhi region students and 15% to rest of the India

Since, this is the first year for DTU to be included in AIEEE, you'll have to wait and check their website regularly for cutoffs.

how to get addmission into delhi college of engineering
To get admission into DCE (which is DTU now), you'll need to have appeared for AIEEE examination. If you have, you may fill their individual form as they aren't listed in CCB.
