How to Get CIR report from CIBIL

Residents of India can now access their credit report from Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited (CIBIL) one of the leading credit rating agencies working in India. As we all are aware, CIBIL CIR is a factua record of your credit payment history compiled from information received from credit grantors. The purpose is to help credit grantors make informed lending decisions – quickly and objectively, and enable faster processing of your credit applications to help provide you speedier access to credit at better terms.
Steps to get CIR report
First you need to raise a request for your Credit Information report (CIR) thru Mail, E-Mail, Fax or Phone.

After the above mentioned step, you have to send mail after completing the consumer disclosure form along with self attested valid Identity and address proof to "Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited, P.O. Box 17, Millennium Business Park, Navi Mumbai, 400710"*.

Along with a Demand Draft of Rs 142.00 drawn in favour of Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited, payable at Mumbai
Once you send in the application, it takes two to three week to get the report. Unlike US or any other developed nation, there is a huge scope for improvement while ordering or processing such kind of reports.
