A call that never ends…

CSE: Sir, please note down your complaint number XXXXXXXX (Never ending number)

Consumer: from now I will not get any calls right.

CSE: Yes Sir, is there is anything else may I assist you with.

Consumer: No that would be ok with me and thanks for your help.

CSE: Thank you for calling XYZ have a nice day ahead.

Once I lodged a complaint with them I was not receiving any call from any telecaller I was overjoyed but a bomb from the other territory just blasted on my phone around 4 in the evening.

And the call was like this:

Caller: Good evening Sir, this is JKL calling from HIG bank, sir your name was selected under a lucky draw and we are offering you a free life time credit card which has no fees at all.

Consumer: what are the details (crooked mind to take the call little long so that a complaint can be lodged)

Caller: Details of the program.

Consumer: what is your contact number?

Caller: The number that is flashing on your screen.

Consumer: Ok, Ms JKL. By the way, my number is registered under NDNC (just to show off).

Caller: Sir, what’s that.

Consumer: dropped call…

After this, my hope that something is working to protect my privacy got shattered with one little sentence (what’s that…) and it makes no sense for me to lodge a complaint again and again like a fool wasting my valuable time. After all this, I think NDNC has no meaning.

Did you face any such problems too? Do write in so that I know that I am not the chosen one.
